Brand names such as Disney, Amazon and Target are all adopting a new way of marketing toys to children.

By not labelling or colouring the isles/pages in their shops explicitly for boys or girls, these shops are effectively allowing children to choose whatever toys they want without feeling like they are going to be scrutinised by peers for not conforming to the gender normalities imposed by the toy market.

This is a huge step forward in terms of gender fluidity, Gen Z's will have an even broader sense to the term gender blurring when marketing shifts towards them in the future.
