Brief Breakdown — Studio Brief 02 — OUGD505

With this module being 30 credits, the research/idea stages need to be much more substantial than the outcome. So to manage the workload more effectively, the brief will be broken down in an order will be better to understand in terms of time management. Knowing how long a certain task will take in comparison to others is crucial in order to be able to prioritise the more important tasks to complete the brief in a trembly manner.

As this brief is split into two different sections — research and applied design — it is best to split the two equally to ensure that there is sufficient time spent on both. However, with the idea stage being so important within this brief it can also overlap into the applied design time as it will give the opportunity to expand on the body of work to make it more effective.
