
As you can see, due to the name of the product/manufacture, I ran into legibility issues. These being the most basic forms of logotype, I thought I would stop myself from progressing on development of this king of logo as I don;t think it represents the product well enough.

After establishing that a logotype was not the way to go, I started to play around with adding a simple logo that represents one of the knobs on the MIDI controller.
After showing this in the crit, I was told it would be best to try and represent the product in the form of an icon without type.
