Imagery - Studio Brief 01 - OUGD504

I wanted to use proper images of plants that I myself have taken. So I have take the time to gather some of my own collection and taken very rough shots of them.

The quality of the shot doesn't necessarily have to be studio quality, with this only being a week long brief I want the outcome to reflect this and not spend too much time on the finer details, but still ensuring the work is to a perfect standard in design terms.

With a little editing and touch ups here and there I was able to get the images I wanted. Bear in mind that these images will be cropped into an isosceles triangle to fit into the pentagon shape of the leaflet.

Each plant is representative of a particular stage of design. The Areca Palm (First images) represents freshness, while the cactus at the end represents the painful stages of design, or the not-so enjoyable bits so to speak.
