Finished Specimen - Studio Brief 01 - OUGD504

After a long week, I have finally developed an outcome I'm happy with. For me, writing about the design process I think has actually had an improvement on my own work and how I execute each stage of development. This is something I have struggled with in Level 4, but now I have realised what I was doing wrong and upped myself to put more effort into the development stages of my designs.

The finished piece (Unfolded):

The vibrancy of the ink really makes the leaflet stand out, and the off white grain of the stock makes the white space look less empty and therefore more affective.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the result. Although, the printer in the print room hasn't aligned both sides as well as the prototype, so whilst I was cutting the leaflet down, I noticed that both sides weren't lining up right, this is unavoidable with the resource I had to hand, and cannot be amend as today was the last full day of working on this brief. I feel a re-print wouldn't be feasible at this moment in time.
