Target Audience - Studio Brief 03 - OUGD504

Finding your target market is easier when you know what you yourself are interested in, as more often than not, the consumer who would purchase the book would have similar likes and interests to myself:

  • 20 years old.
  • Male.
  • Born in Southport. 
  • Lives in Leeds.
  • Favourite books: The God Delusion ( & Whatever you think, think the opposite (Paul Arden) (Penguin Books).
  • Interests: Technology, Basketball, Design, Brutalist/Modernist Architecture.


What kind of people would pick my book up?


  • Someone with an interest in art and/or photography, and an appreciation of Britain's industrial history from victorian up to the modern day.
  • One off, hand made books, e.g. collectors.
