Whilst on a visit to Liverpool, I decided to go and take a look in the Fact gallery whilst 'Build your own tools for sharing' was on.
There was something on which was of interest for me and which holds some relevancy within my own concept for the Summer Brief.
One exhibition in FACT, and a very small one at that looked at the decaying of old signage and typography. Such as the Futurist Cinema, built in 1912, since abandoned and forgotten:
Although it isn't industrial per se, it holds that idea of deterioration being viewed in a positive light. Something which obviously isn't beautiful, but is beautiful to look at nonetheless.
